William Henry's death, 1879.
William Henry Rigby, age 50, died on 30th October 1879 at the Royal Southern Hospital, Toxteth. He had suffered an "Injury to the windpipe. Accidentally struck by a broken block. Died shortly after."
An inquest was held on 1st November 1879, which was briefly reported in the Liverpool Mercury of 3rd November:
On the body of William Henry Rigby, 54 years of age, a stevedore's labourer, who lived at 8 Jordan Place, Mill Street. Rigby was working on Thursday night in the hold of the steamer Egbert, in Queens Dock, when, through the breaking of a rope, a block flew and struck him in the neck, injuring his windpipe.
Verdict, "Accidental Death."

Elizabeth's Death and Burial:

From the death certificate, Elizabeth died on 17th September 1904, at 28 Dale View, Garston. The cause of death was an embolism, 19 days after childbirth.
She was buried on 22nd September 1904 at St Michael's Church, Garston.
The child Elizabeth bore in September 1904 was named Hilda.
Hilda survived only 3 months. Her death was registered during the December Quarter of 1904: WEST DERBY, Volume 08B, Page 417.
She was buried at St Michael, Garston on 10th December 1904. She died at 5 Rokesmith Street, Liverpool, home of her Aunt and Uncle, Harry And Alice Cowsill (née Fitton).
